Welcome to KatDoesDisney’s newest series- the Sunday Snippet! We will share brief posts about one of the biggest Disney topics from the week. This week was was JAM PACKED with Disney news (like Disney+ and Star Wars Episode IX, The Rise of Skywalker). However, I want to focus on the biggest news from the theme parks because I have some tips to share! Thus, the biggest story for the parks this week is about Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party. Thinking about the holidays always manages to put a smile on my face and nothing is more magical than celebrating them at Walt Disney World! This week, Disney announced the dates for Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party! This festive event will take place in Magic Kingdom for 23 days (yes, that’s 1 extra day this year!). The 2019 party dates are:

  • November: 8, 11, 12, 14, 15, 17, 19, 21, 22, 24
  • December: 1, 3, 5, 6, 8, 10, 12, 13, 15, 17, 19, 20, 22

Pro Tip: Think about going in November as tickets for party days are cheaper then compared to those in December!

You can join Mickey and the gang in a winter wonderland! Partake in returning favorites such as the Christmastime parade, holiday fireworks, and magical stage shows performed right in front of Cinderella Castle! It is the only time you can experience snow on Main Street while enjoying complimentary treats.

Tickets are on sale now starting at $99 per person (after a $10 advance-purchase savings). Buy yours from the Disney World website or by calling the Disney Reservation Center at 407-939-1872.

Pro tip: Even though the Christmas Party starts later in the day, go to Magic Kingdom early. Crowds tend to be lower on party days, so you can take your time, relax, and really enjoy Magic Kingdom! For more tips, check out this post!

Wishing you a Very Merry rest of your weekend!

Cheers!!
